Update May 2013: Draft 2014-15 FAFSA Available for Review and Comments On Monday, May 6, 2013, notice of the 60-day public comment period for the 2014-15 FAFSA draft was published in the Federal Register. Comments submitted in response to this notice should be submitted electronically by July 5 through the Federal eRulemaking Portal at www.regulations.gov by selecting Docket ID number ED-2013-ICCD-0061 (or go to www.regulations.gov/#!docketDetail;D=ED-2013-ICCD-0061 to review the content). |
Students may request a paper FAFSA from www.edpubs.gov or
1-877-4-ED-PUBS. Students also may complete their FAFSA by calling the Federal Student Aid Information Center (FSAIC) and dictating their answers over the phone. The FSAIC is at 1-800-4-FED-AID (1-800-433-3243). The TTY for the hearing impaired is 1-800-730-8913; and the number for students without access to the toll-free line is 319-337-5665.
Counselors who work with students who do not have access to the Internet or phone service may download PDF FAFSAs and print them out for their students. Alternatively, those counselors may order paper FAFSAs at www.FSAPubs.gov.
Note: The final paper FAFSA is usually printed between late December and late January; watch our “What’s New” section on the home page of this site for an announcement.
